Mount Washington Road Race

I woke up at 4am the other weekend to spend the day at the Mount Washington Road race volunteering for the Central Maine Striders and taking pictures during the race. In the end I got some photos I am happy with and a 15 mile training run in with 4,700ft of climbing. The weight of my full frame camera added to the fun and this workout should prove beneficial during the Buckin’ Hell 50K coming up in July out in Vancouver.

It was also Central Maine Striders own Ron Peck 34th (35th?) Mount Washington Road Race and I was grateful to catch him grinding his way to the top for yet another finish here.
